Sophia Jones, Ph.D., M.B.A.

Dr. Sophia Jones is a Training and Consultation Specialist with Rutgers-Behavioral Health- Behavioral Research and Training Institute for the Children’s System of Care Training and Technical Assistance Program. She has over 18 years of experience in the behavioral health field specializing in Culturally Competent focused crisis intervention and service plans. She brings years of experience from the New Jersey System of Care working with children and families diagnosed with a mental illness. Dr. Jones continues to advocate for health equity and equal access to mental health services. In addition to her role as a Training and Consultation specialist, she teaches as an adjunct instructor within undergraduate and graduate programs at Rutgers University and St. Peter’s University.
