DNP Student Attends Conference in Washington
Florence Campbell (pictured first from right), a student of the doctor of nursing practice (DNP) program at Saint Peter’s University, recently attended a policy conference in Washington, DC, to lobby for the Advanced Practice Nurses of New Jersey (APN-NJ) bill, which would allow nurses to prescribe medicine on their own without consulting physicians. She is pictured with the New Jersey group of advanced practice nurses and Senator Cory Booker. During the conference, Campbell visited the Capital and spoke with senators to ask them to co-sponsor the bill.
