TRIO Summer Bridge Program
If you are an admitted first-year student at Saint Peter’s University, get a jump start on your college career by applying to the Summer Bridge Program as part of TRIO Student Support Services (SSS). Earn three (3) college level credits in a supportive learning environment that counts towards graduation requirements. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in academic seminars and workshops designed to familiarize you with Saint Peter’s University and your new community both on and off campus with a great group of TRIO peers.
You’ll be supported throughout the Summer Bridge Program with individual and group tutoring. To set you on the path for success as you prepare to start at Saint Peter’s, you can also take advantage of personalized academic, career and professional coaching during the program.
Requirements for the Summer Bridge Program
To be eligible for the Summer Bridge Program you must:
- Meet the qualifications and definitions of a first-generation college student, individual with a disability or low-income individual.
- Be an admitted and enrolled (deposit submitted) first-year student (no transfer students; cannot have prior college experience) at Saint Peter’s University.
- Qualify for federal financial aid and have a current FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
- Provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.
- Complete the TRIO SSS application.
