Students Compete for Business Studies Abroad Grant
Six business majors took part in a competition for a $3,000 grant to offset the cost of taking the “Doing Business Internationally” course, which involves a trip to Cuba during spring break this year. The merit-based grant includes a competition requiring the research, development and delivery of a 15 minute speech titled, “Cuba: Opportunity Blossoming?” A panel of three faculty judges selected Guen Pak, ’17, an international business major, as the winner. This is the first year that the grant has been in existence.
