The Saint Peter’s chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, hosted a successful fundraising event for L.I.N.D.A. organization. The event featured a variety of musicians, poets, comedians, and essayists, including some members of the Saint Peter’s community.

Kari Larsen, Chair of Criminal Justice, and Lisa O’Neill Sanders, Chair of Philosophy, presented slides about their ongoing research of the Emmett Till murder and trial, and Bob Dylan’s call to the collective conscience in his song “The Death of Emmett Till”.

L.I.N.DA. collects toiletries, cosmetics and home products for women adversely affected by the criminal justice system (wearelinda.org).
