Exciting News – Accepting Deposits Through This Summer!

Saint Peter’s University will continue accepting deposits throughout the summer. This extended period offers additional flexibility and peace of mind for those who are still finalizing their plans for the upcoming academic year.

Understanding FAFSA Delays

We recognize that many of you are still experiencing delays with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) processing and that these delays can create uncertainty and stress as you plan for your college education.

  • FAFSA Support When You Need It: Our dedicated financial aid staff is here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have regarding FAFSA delays, understanding your financial aid options and ensuring you have tools you need to make the choice for your future.
  • No Rush Means Less Stress: Being a Peacock means offering support so our goal in accepting deposits through the summer is to provide you with more time to navigate FAFSA issues and secure your spot this fall without feeling rushed.
  • Continuous Updates: As we receive regular updates from federal and state agencies, we recommend checking back frequently for the most current and up to date information available.

Next Steps

Make Your Deposit

You are another step closer to being a Saint Peter’s University student! Check your Peacock Applicant Portal and make your deposit today!

While May 1st is our preferred deposit date, we will remain flexible with students as they make their enrollment decisions.

If you have already made your enrollment deposit, your enrollment next steps will be listed for you in your portal.  Reach out to the Office of Admission if you have any questions

For payment due dates, payment options and student account forms, please visit Student Accounts. If you would like to speak to someone directly, please contact the Office of Student Accounts.

Create Your University Network Password

In order for you to be able to access SpiritOnline, Blackboard and your Saint Peter’s student email accounts, you will need to set your network password.

Instructions can be found in the New Student Checklist section within your Peacock Applicant Portal.

Set-up Your SpiritOnline Account

Please check your portal for instructions on how to log in to SPIRITOnline.  If you need that information resent, please contact them at admissions@saintpeters.edu or at 201-761-7100.

SPIRITOnline is the University’s main system for your student accounts–academic, and financial.  You’ll find various points of access to take care of your business with the University through SPIRIT Online (a.k.a.  SPIRIT)

Set Up Your Student Email Account

Your student email address and log-in instructions can be found in your Peacock Applicant Portal. This will be the MAIN email the University will use to communicate with you during the next steps of enrollment and while you’re part of the Saint Peter’s community, so it’s critical you activate it. In some cases, you may still be receiving information to the email you provided during the application process so please remember to check both accounts throughout the summer.

You are encouraged to start using your Saint Peter’s University email account today! Remember to set your University network password before trying to access your email.  You will need to reset the temporary password to one that is your own. To do this, go to https://reset.saintpeters.edu/react and follow the instructions.

If you have questions about your email address and temporary password, please contact the Office of Admission at admissions@saintpeters.edu or the IT Service Desk at servicedesk@saintpeters.edu.
