INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS COMMITTEE (IEC) guides the development, implementation and assessment of a comprehensive model to determine how well Saint Peter’s University is achieving its mission and goals. The IEC is charged with coordinating a systematic and structured process for evaluating the University’s overall institutional effectiveness in student learning, both in the core curriculum and academic programs; in academic, student and administrative support programs and services; and in the strategic plan. Institutional effectiveness initiatives are further advanced by the processes of academic program review, regional and specialty accreditations, mandatory external reporting, institutional performance metrics, and regular evaluation of strategic goals and objectives.
