Staff Present at American Association for Applied Linguistics Conference
On March 18, Nicole Houser, Ph.D., associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and Alicia D’Amato, director of the Center for English Language Acquisition and Culture (CELAC), presented a paper at the annual conference for the American Association for Applied Linguistics. The paper, “(Re)Imagining a Developmental Immigrant Language Center as a Translingual Space,” detailed the programmatic and curricular developments of CELAC at Saint Peter’s University.
