Saint Peter’s Partners with Montclair State University on Graduate Scholarships Grant
Saint Peter’s University in collaboration with Montclair State University was awarded funding for Opening Pathways, Engaging, and Networking in Chemistry in Northern New Jersey (OPEN-NJ) through the National Science Foundation. OPEN-NJ is a program that offers Saint Peter’s students $10,000 a year while enrolled in Montclair State University’s graduate program. Qualified students are those who completed their undergraduate degree in a non-chemistry/non-biochemistry discipline (i.e. Biology, Physics, Geoscience, Geography, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.), who wish to pursue graduate study in one of the following programs:
- M.S. in Pharmaceutical Biochemistry
- M.S. in Chemistry
- M.S. in Chemistry w/ concentration in Biochemistry
Students will receive $10,000 a year for 3 years towards all necessary pre-requisites, as well as their master’s credits. Recipients will receive academic support through this scholarship, as well as professional development and networking opportunities.
