March 3-4, 2025

SPUHSMUN 2025 Conference Program

On Monday and Tuesday, March 3 and 4, 2025, Saint Peter’s University will host its 34th Annual High School Model United Nations Conference (HSMUN). We hope that your school will join us for this exciting educational event.

Participants in HSMUN simulate actual United Nations operations with students assuming the role of ambassadors from their assigned countries and debating the important issues of the day. Students receive a hands-on experiential learning opportunity in diplomacy and international relations.

After you register, your high school will be assigned a country (or countries, depending on the size of your delegation). While you can request a particular country, we cannot guarantee that it will be assigned.

This year, The Saint Peter’s University HSMUN Conference will consist of eight committees. Your students will have an opportunity to submit written position papers in response to issue briefs that we will make available prior to the conference.

If you have questions or would like more information about Saint Peter’s University HSMUN, please contact 2023 Secretary General Marco Guzman or SPU HSMUN Faculty Advisor Rebecca Marcillo-Gomez at spuhsmun@saintpeters.edu.
