Professional Training and Development

Various departments on campus offer budget, customer service, and web trainings for our employees and faculty members on an ongoing basis.

The Instructional Technology Department offers one-on-one and group training opportunities for faculty, staff and administrators throughout the semester on topics including the Blackboard Content Management System and Microsoft Office Software.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is the federal law that protects the privacy of education records. FERPA workshops are conducted annually at New Faculty Orientation, and throughout the year as needed for staff.

Social and Personal Development

The social and personal development of each individual is also nurtured at Saint Peter’s, with events like the “A Passion for…” series, featuring monthly lectures by staff on topics that are of personal interest.
