HUNGER FREE CAMPUS

Resources on Campus

Besides the Campus Kitchen and University Food Pantry, SPU does not offer a Swipe Out Hunger program, but if any student is food insecure, SPU can provide them with institutional support and grant-funded resources. The resources depend on the needs of the students, for example, the Dean of Students has offered to cover a semester’s meal plan or the University is able to supply grocery store gift cards.

Students dealing with food insecurity are encouraged to reach out to the Dean of Students, Travis Whistler, deanofstudents@saintpeters.edu or Director of Community Service, Erich Sekel, esekel@saintpeters.edu to explore the possible resources available.
