Chi Alpha Epsilon Inducts Twenty Saint Peter’s College Students

 

CHI ALPHA EPSILON INDUCTS 20 SAINT PETER’S COLLEGE STUDENTS
INTO ITS NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY FOR EOF STUDENTS

March 20, 2003– Jersey City, NJ–Twenty Saint Peter’s College students were recently inducted into the Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society, which acknowledges the academic achievements of students admitted to college through the Equal Opportunity Fund (EOF) program.

Saint Peter’s College is the 11th college or university in New Jersey to participate in the Chi Alpha Epsilon program. The National Honor Society, which began in 1989, honors full-time students who hold a 3.0 cumulative grade point average for two consecutive semesters. Students who enrolled in college through the EOF program or other developmental programs are eligible.

The College held the induction ceremony on March 13. Dr. Elbert Saddler, who founded the honorary fraternity at West Chester University and is the program’s Executive Director, attended the event

Saint Peter’s College is the Jesuit College of New Jersey. Founded in 1872, Saint Peter’s has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. The main campus is located in Jersey City and a branch campus, specializing in adult education, is located in Englewood Cliffs.
