Former Good Morning America Science Correspondent Will Speak At Saint Peter’s College

 

FORMER GOOD MORNING AMERICA SCIENCE CORRESPONDENT WILL SPEAK AT SAINT PETER’S COLLEGE


March 04, 2003— Jersey City, NJ– Dr. William Gutsch, Jr., one of Saint Peter’s College’s most well-known graduates, will speak at the College on Thursday, March 6 at 11 a.m. in Pope Lecture Hall. The former WABC-TV Meteorologist, Good Morning America Science Correspondent and Hayden Planetarium Chairman will discuss, “Journeys to the Red Planet and the Lord of the Rings ”

The Star-Ledger recently voted Dr. Gutsch as “One of the 100 Most Famous People to Ever Graduate High School in New Jersey,” along with such stars as Jack Nicholson, Meryl Streep, Bruce Willis, Whitney Houston, Calista Flockhart, Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi.

Saint Peter’s College is the Jesuit College of New Jersey. Founded in 1872, Saint Peter’s has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. The main campus is located in Jersey City and a branch campus, specializing in adult education, is located in Englewood Cliffs. Saint Peter’s also offers classes in downtown Jersey City near the waterfront financial district.
