Retiring English Professor Dr. Victoria Sullivan’s one-act play Laundromat Blues, will be performed by the Hypothetical Theatre Company at the 14th Street Y at 344 E. 14th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues on Thursday, June 26 and Sunday, June 29th at 7 p.m. The play takes place on one day in February 2003, on the lower Eastside of Manhattan where tensions are running high in this orange alert pre-Iraqi War period and tells the story of two men getting in a territorial battle over the one working dryer in a run-down Laundromat.
