Donald Moore, S.J., to Discuss A View from Jerusalem on November 29

Donald Moore, S.J.Jersey City – Donald Moore, S.J., ’50 will deliver the fifth address of the Catholic and Jesuit Identity Lecture Series at Saint Peter’s College on Wednesday, November 29 at noon in Pope Lecture Hall. The event is free and open to the general public.   
 
Father Moore, a Professor Emeritus of Theology at Fordham University, will discuss A View from Jerusalem: Palestinian and Israeli Peacemaking Efforts. He has spent much of the last seven years at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Jerusalem, engaged in interfaith work and as pastor of an English-speaking parish in Jerusalem. Father Moore has published articles in journals such as America and National Jesuit News and books on Martin Buber.
 
Saint Peter’s College is the Jesuit College of New Jersey.  Founded in 1872, Saint Peter’s has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs.  The main campus is located in Jersey City.  The College has a branch campus for adults in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and also offers courses at various corporate sites at the Jersey City waterfront and in South Amboy, NJ.
