Jersey City, NJ – Beginning this fall, Saint Peter’s College will offer a new Accelerated Business Degree Completion Program for working adults through its School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS). The program will offer classes in eight-week sessions so that students may complete their degrees more quickly than in traditional undergraduate business programs.
Students who have earned an associate’s degree may transfer the credits to the accelerated business curriculum and complete their bachelor’s degree in as few as 20 months. Each course is supplemented by online learning and includes two hours of classroom time at one of Saint Peter’s many locations, including the Englewood Cliffs and Jersey City campuses. Students who meet the enrollment criteria will also be considered for financial assistance.
Incorporating the College’s mission through ethics coursework, the program will educate students in the fundamental principles of business, accounting, finance and economics. Upon completion of the program, graduates will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in management or health care management.
Each concentration will prepare graduates for supervisory roles. A management focus will allow students to gain the knowledge and skills needed for successful and ethical leadership roles in business careers. By selecting the health care management focus, students will gain knowledge of health care systems, financing and organization, as well as explore the legal and ethical dimensions of health care.

With small class sizes and individual attention for each student, SPCS has educated adult students for more than 75 years. Consideration for admission to SPCS is based on an application and transcripts from all high schools or post-secondary schools attended; there are no entrance exams or standardized tests required.
