The Saint Peter’s University Englewood Cliffs campus (ECC) is a special place for many of the alumni who attended classes at the University’s Bergen County location over the years. While the campus has previously hosted various events for alumni, an official ECC Alumni Chapter Committee was recently established. The group officially launched the Englewood Cliffs Campus Alumni Chapter with a reception on November 13 at the Assembly Steak House in Englewood Cliffs. More than 30 alumni were in attendance.
“Saint Peter’s has begun a number of initiatives designed to strengthen enrollment at the University’s Englewood Cliffs campus and to build a heightened awareness of the campus within the business community in the BergenCounty area,” said Gloria Mercurio, executive director of alumni engagement at Saint Peter’s University. “The establishment of an alumni chapter is another step in the right direction to building and deepening connections to the campus.”
The ECC Alumni Chapter Committee includes Nikki Mederos ’07, ’10, director of external relations and patient relations at Palisades Medical Center; Hali Gruber ’80, owner of American Weathertight; Maureen Finnegan ’81, manager of Sanders Capitol Management; Joan McDonough ’87; Danielle Spina ’08; Lilian Saldua ’96, programmer at Storis Management Systems; and Bob Mondelli ’92, ’07, vice president of information technology at Passaic County Community College.
During the reception Mederos addressed the group and shared the benefits of being a part of the ECC Alumni Chapter. Members will have the opportunity to network with the broader Saint Peter’s alumni base, connect with fellow ECC alumni and staff and collaborate with the University.
As the ECC Alumni Chapter is further developed alumni can expect invitations to future networking, social and business events.
