Jersey City, N.J. – March 6, 2025 – Saint Peter’s University is proud to announce the addition of three innovative concentrations to its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Strategic Management, Machine Learning and Nonprofit Management. These cutting-edge specializations underscore the University’s commitment to equipping future business and nonprofit leaders with the expertise needed to thrive in an increasingly complex and technology-driven world.
“These new concentrations reflect our dedication to providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the evolving business and nonprofit landscapes,” said Kimberly Reeve, Ph.D., KPMG dean of the Frank J. Guarini at Saint Peter’s University. “Whether harnessing the power of AI and machine learning to drive innovation or leading mission-driven organizations for social impact, our students will gain the practical tools to excel in their careers and make a meaningful difference.”
The AI and Strategic Management concentration prepares leaders to develop ethical AI policies and leverage generative AI and advanced AI applications across industries. Students will explore the future of AI and gain insights into how managers can proactively lead teams in utilizing AI effectively.
The Machine Learning concentration equips students with the skills to optimize AI applications in corporate operations. Coursework includes integrating AI and machine learning into speech recognition, customer service, recommendation engines, robotic process automation and fraud detection, while also addressing the ethical implications of expanding AI-driven decision-making.
This expansion of AI-focused graduate programs builds upon Saint Peter’s commitment to providing comprehensive AI education. Recently, the University reimagined its Bachelor of Science in Data Science program, enhancing it to incorporate artificial intelligence and renaming it the Bachelor of Science in Data Science and AI. This update ensures that students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels are equipped with the skills necessary to excel in the rapidly advancing field of AI.
The Nonprofit Management concentration focuses on strategic planning, budgeting for long-term sustainability, and aligning human and financial resources to fulfill an organization’s mission. Students will learn to implement key performance metrics to ensure nonprofits effectively serve diverse stakeholders and meet their objectives.
