Saint Peter’s College to Offer Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at Jersey City Campus

Jersey City (November 18, 2005) — Saint Peter’s College will offer a new Bachelor of Science in Nursing program for high school graduates at its Jersey City campus starting in September 2006. “Numerous studies confirm the ongoing need for nursing professionals,” said Associate Dean of Nursing Dr. Marylou Yam. “This new program provides an opportunity for those with an interest in nursing as a career to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to work in a variety of health care environments.” Students who enroll in the Nursing Program will earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and will be prepared for professional practice as registered nurses (RNs).

Since 1981, the College has offered a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at its Englewood Cliffs campus and added a Master of Science in Nursing program for registered nurses at the same location in 1997.
