Jersey City (April 19, 2005) Chris Lowney, author of a book about the early Jesuits entitled Heroic Leadership, will deliver the next address in the Catholic and Jesuit Identity 2004-2005 Lecture Series at noon on Monday, April 25 th in the Degnan Room on the Saint Peter’s College campus. The lecture is co-sponsored by the Student Senate and the Catholic and Jesuit Identity Committee of Saint Peter’s.
Lowney’s talk is entitled What Twenty-First Century Leaders Can Learn from Sixteenth Century Jesuits. Lowney is also the author of A Vanished World, a book about Spain in the Middle Ages. He serves part-time as Special Assistant to the President of the Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB), the leading U.S.-based Catholic charity providing health care programs and services to people in need around the world.
