Dedication of Sculpture of Saint Peter and Catholic Imagination Symposium

Jersey City, NJ (March 17, 2005) The Saint Peter’s College community will celebrate the dedication of the sculpture of Saint Peter on Thursday, March 31 at 2:30 p.m. A symposium on The Catholic Imagination will follow in the Roy Irving Theatre at 3:15 p.m. Author Peter Quinn (Banished Children of Eve and Hour of the Cat) will speak.

James Fisher, Professor of Theology and Co-Director of the Francis and Ann Curran Center for American Catholic Studies at Fordham University , and Robert McCarty, S.J., Associate Professor of English at Saint Peter’s, will serve as respondents. The event is sponsored by the Saint Peter’s College Catholic and Jesuit Identity Committee and The Francis and Ann Curran Center for American Catholic Studies at Fordham University.
