Saint Peter’s College Will Hold Fall Open House for Prospective Students

Jersey City, NJ-Saint Peter’s College will hold its annual Fall Open House on Saturday, November 15 2003 from9 a.m.- 1 p.m. on the College’s Jersey City campus. The event is designed to assist prospective students and their families in learning more about the College and includes classes, campus tours and a session on the admission and financial aid process . The event begins with breakfast and a welcome address from College President Father James Loughran, SJ. Visitors will then attend a “mock” class, taught by members of the College’s full-time faculty. Families will then have several options, including special sessions on the college application process and campus tours. The day will end with lunch and the Academic and Student Life Arena, allowing visitors to learn about the College’s offerings. “Open House is a great opportunity for our prospective students, and their families, to become better acquainted with Saint Peter’s College,” Director of Admission Joe Giglio said. “The best way to understand what a College offers is to visit, meet the faculty and members of the administration, and get answers to commonly held questions. Founded in 1872, Saint Peter’s has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. The main campus is located in Jersey City and a branch campus, specializing in adult education, is located in Englewood Cliffs. Saint Peter’s also offers classes in downtown Jersey City near the waterfront financial district.
