SPC Office for Community Service Schedules Holiday Events

Jersey City — The Saint Peter’s College Office for Community Service and Service Learning (CSSL) has several events scheduled for the 2006 holiday season.
 
The College community will participate again this year in the Angel Giving Trees program.  The trees are located outside of Dinneen and contain angel ornaments with donation ideas for children this the holiday season.  Toys, board games, crafts or gift cards are also welcome for children throughout Jersey City.  
 
In addition, a blood drive will be held on Wednesday, December 6 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in Irving Theater.  During the holiday season, the Blood Center receives fewer donors.  Please help to give the gift of life.  Each donation can save three lives. 
 
The Work of Human Hands Sale will also take place from December 6 – 15.  Fair Trade crafts, ornaments, candles, gifts, kitchen accessories, jewelry, coffee, chocolates and more items will be on sale.  The sale will be held in the Pavonia Room on December 6 and 13 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and in Dinneen 127 on December 7-8 and December 11-15 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
