Michael Manzo, former State Assemblyman, and a Board Member of the Hudson Regional Health Commission, will speak and fielded questions. Manzo is an environmental activist who will address the climate crisis at the federal level, which is a key goal of Focus the Nation.
As a pre-curser to the event, at 8 pm on January 30, 2008, a National Web cast entitled The 2% Solution will take place in Gannon Room 1. The discussion will focus on a 2% solution of cutting back national greenhouse gases and the political “will” that is necessary for this to happen.
