Jersey City, N.J. – Saint Peter’s College today signed an agreement with Drexel University College of Medicine and Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., officially beginning a B.A./M.D. program. The B.A./M.D. program is designed to provide qualified undergraduates at Saint Peter’s College with early acceptance to Drexel University College of Medicine and invaluable research experience while working with physicians at Saint Peter’s University Hospital.
Highly qualified, undergraduate premedical students will be conditionally admitted to the program as sophomores. After having satisfied program requirements, including a clinical educational research experience at Saint Peter’s University Hospital, and upon graduating from Saint Peter’s College, students will enter Drexel University College of Medicine. As medical students, a portion of their clinical clerkship and clinical rotation experiences will be completed at Saint Peter’s University Hospital.

The program will be available to Saint Peter’s College students in the fall of 2012.
